Purpose
Leech Lake Tribal College (LLTC) is committed to protecting the privacy, security, and sovereignty of data about our students, employees, partners, culture, and communities. This policy establishes consistent procedures for requesting, approving, collecting, sharing, and reporting LLTC data for internal and external purposes, including Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs), Data Sharing Agreements (DSAs), and third-party requests. It ensures compliance with applicable laws (e.g., FERP, HIPAA, PII, PHI, GLBA), accreditation and grant obligations, LLTC’s cultural protocols, and Indigenous Data Sovereignty and
Infrastructure principles.
