How the Two-Advisor System Works
Each new degree-seeking student is assigned two academic advisors: a Student Services Academic Advisor and a faculty advisor. Students are encouraged to meet with their advisors throughout each semester.
New Students – Start Here
All new degree-seeking students are required to meet with the Student Services Academic Advisor before their first semester registration. During this meeting, we will discuss your educational goals, review your program requirements, and help plan your courses.
- Complete the admissions process.
- Meet with the Student Services Academic Advisor.
- Review your degree requirements and obtain the required approvals.
- Complete the registration form and obtain the required approvals.
- Prepare for the first day of classes.
Non-Degree Seeking Students
Interested in taking individual classes without pursuing a degree or certificate? Non-degree seeking enrollment may be an option for personal enrichment, professional development, or exploring an academic interest.
- Complete the Non-Degree Seeking Student Form.
- Contact Student Services to discuss enrollment.
- Review course availability and prerequisites.
- Complete applicable registration requirements
