Biography

I have nearly 25-years of experience working in higher education in various roles including instructional designer, academic program manager, faculty development, adjunct and full-time instructor. I’ve worked for the University of Wisconsin, the University of Minnesota, and taught at Northland Community and Technical College. I earned my bachelors degree at Bemidji State University and completed my Masters of Science Education with credits earned at the University of North Dakota (graduate assistant) and the University of Wisconsin – Superior.

I enjoy a many outdoor activities in all-seasons – fishing, snowshoeing, hunting, camping, motorcycle touring, all with my camera in hand. I grew up in Warroad Minnesota on Lake of the Woods and over the years developed a long tradition of canoeing the Boundary Water Canoe Wilderness Area (BWCA) with my family and friends, since 1986 I have logged over 50 trips into the BWCA.
