Janelle Johnson, whose Ojibwe name is Dakamub, is a second-language-learner from Onigum. She currently lives in Laporte with her family. Dakamub has taught Ojibwe language students to high school students for the past two years. She learns Ojibwe from immersion settings and her elders. Dakamub grew up hearing some Ojibwe language at home and has studied the language for the past 18 years.
