Chamisa A. Goodwin is passionate about health and wellness, continually exploring ways to maintain a balanced and active lifestyle. With a strong focus on both physical and mental well-being, Chamisa dedicates time to learning about nutrition, fitness, and holistic approaches to self-care. This passion has led to a deep understanding of the importance of living a healthy and sustainable life.

As a Native American, Chamisa finds a deep connection to nature and enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and exploring the natural world. These outdoor adventures are not only a source of physical activity but also a way to honor cultural traditions and maintain a connection to the land. The peace and clarity found in nature support both physical and spiritual well-being.

Currently serving as an Extension Assistant at Leech Lake Tribal College, Chamisa helps foster community engagement and education, bringing together a love for wellness and a desire to support others. Previously, Chamisa enjoyed a successful career as a professional jockey, and now uses the skills of resilience, discipline, and personal growth from that time to inspire others in the pursuit of a healthy, active lifestyle.
