Boise Forte Band of Chippewa
I was born and raised in Duluth, MN as my dad moved off the Bois Forte Reservation to this city when he was a teenager. After I graduated from Hermantown High School, I attended the University of Denver on an NCCA Division I hockey scholarship. After graduating from Denver, I went to two graduate schools and graduated from both. I eventually pursued my doctoral studies in Missouri and graduated with my first doctoral degree in 2013. I have a variety of work experience- including serving on my tribe’s economic development board and in other tribal roles. My wife and I have four children. If I am not working, I am normally spending time with my family- including spending a lot of time driving my kids to extracurricular activities and watching them participate in these activities. I also enjoy working out and I am currently pursuing m Ph.D. in Business Management degree.
