I’m a humanities major in a technical career. This combination is what informed my entire framework for education. It has helped me to understand a vitally important but highly controversial subject and address it in my courses with as much humility and honesty as possible. I’ve been in higher education my entire career. I taught developmental English and mathematics at Turtle Mountain Community College and taught at Bemidji State University on and off in the English and Computer Science departments as an adjunct instructor. I am currently seeking a Master of Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.
