Biography
I started teaching in 2019. I have worked at Bagley Elementary School, Northwest Technical College in Bemidji, and am currently here at Leech Lake Tribal College. My primary expertise is Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education, but I also have extensive social work experience as well. I have worked as a Case Manager for Leech Lake Child Welfare and as an ICWA Guardian ad Litem for the State of Minnesota. I am passionate about educating future caregivers to support our community.
I enjoy family time with my kiddos and husband-we are often at a hockey rink. I have found a joy for reading and audiobooks. I am passionate about Early Childhood, Early Intervention, and learning new ways to support children and families in our community.
