LLTC salutes Kyle Erickson View Full Blog

LLTC's new Director of Institutional Advancement - Bill Blackwell presents Kyle Erickson, former Director, with a blanket and plaque.

The Leech Lake Tribal College would like to take this opportunity to give a very heartfelt mii gwetch (thank you) to Kyle Erickson for his over eight years of service. Kyle has accepted a position with the Blandin Foundation as a grants program officer. We at LLTC would like to wish him the absolute best in his new endeavor. During his tenure as the Director of Institutional Advancement Kyle has created and increased LLTC’s Donor base, fostered more relationships for the college than this article has space to list, established a highly successful Golf Tournament, and without a doubt the pinnacle of his time on campus the new LLTC Library. The new facility will not only house the LLTC library, but its Learning Center/peer tutoring program, a 15-seat smart classroom, and an archive space to house documents and artifacts important to the history of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe and the greater Leech Lake area. The move will also free up around 2,000 square feet of existing space for the college to utilize. Kyle’s commitment and vision to increasing the school’s infrastructure and consequently the opportunities our students have, has been remarkable. Mii gwetch for all that you have done Kyle!!
