Biography:
I am a Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Member and have lived in the area my whole life. I graduated from LLTC with two degrees, one in Liberal Education with a STEM emphasis and the second in Indigenous leadership. During my time at the Tribal College, I served on the Student Senate and was named Student of the Year in 2018. I will be graduating spring 2020 from Bemidji State University with my Bachelor’s in Indigenous Studies and an Ojibwe Minor. Also, I currently serve as the President of the Council of Indian Students at BSU. Next, I will be moving on to the University of Montana to earn my Master’s Degree.
