How to Check for LLTC Library Books Online

If you want to see if the library has a certain book but if you also don't want to get off your cushy desk chair to walk all the way down here*, you can click on the following link: http://www.northstarcatalog.org/
The following page should be what's on your screen:

Click on the “Catalog” tab (right next to the highlighted green “Home” tab under the Leech Lake Tribal College line in the top-left corner), and you'll get this screen:

Type in the “Find” box a title, author, series, or subject you are looking for, and click on the appropriate search button. (Don't worry if you forget, though; it will default to a “keyword” search which will search the title, author, subject, and series fields, which will just return more search results to you. If you are really interested in search types, search perameters, and search structures, consider a career in library science!) For example, using the “Last name, First name” format, one could type in “Carney, Virginia” and click on the “Author” search button (the middle button).
