Position Title: NSTI Academic Program Coordinator (Temp.)

Primary Function: To coordinate daily activities and provide academic lessons in the area of transportation with an intermodal focus including land, sea, air and safety.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in social science or related field and teaching experience preferred. Must be knowledgeable of the Anishinaabe culture and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe and its communities. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Position Title: NSTI Academic Program Assistant (Temp.)(3 positions available) |
Primary Function: To provide direct supervision for youth in a 2 week day camp with the objective of exposing student to careers in Transportation.Education: High School Diploma or GED with (1) year working with youth as a para-professional, volunteer or intern in a social service, residential, or educational or institutional setting or (2) years college credit (30 credits) and experience working with youth preferred. |

Math Instructor / Tutor |
|
Primary Function: Teach developmental mathematics including math skills, pre-algebra, introductory algebra and advanced algebra. Tutor mathematics and assess tutoring program. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree with a major in Mathematics OR Master’s degree with a background weighted in Mathematics (i.e. Science Degree). Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours will be considered. Knowledge of Anishinaabe culture and experience working with American Indian students preferred. |
