As demonstrated by President Obama’s Executive Order on Improving American Indian and Alaska Native Educational Opportunities and Strengthening Tribal Colleges and Universities, the Administration continues to work to improve the programs available at tribal colleges so that Native students are well prepared to compete for the high-skilled, quality jobs of today and tomorrow.

Since ancient times, The San Manuel Band have expressed themselves through a culture of giving, today, San Manuel is able to answer the call of Yawa' (Serrano word meaning "to act on one's beliefs") through partnerships with charitable organizations. They have drawn upon their history, knowledge, expertise and cultural values to direct their philanthropic giving in our local region, as well as to Native American causes nationwide.
