Introduction
Thank you for your interest in the Leech Lake Tribal College! We are looking forward to serving you!
Leech Lake Tribal College appreciates when Elders can attend LLTC and welcomes them for their wisdom. As a result, LLTC developed policy that entitled all elders to one free course per semester; however, are responsible for book charges.
Eligibility
Elder are defined as 55-years of age and older, prior to admission. High School Diploma or GED does not apply.
Status
Elders who enroll for one free course are classified as Non-Degree Seekers. Elders who wish to seek a degree must submit a high school diploma or GED and be admitted as a regular degree seeking student. Degree seeking Elders who do not wish to follow a regular program of study may earn credits towards an Honorary Degree of sixty-four (64) credits maximum.
Enrollment Procedure
- Complete and submit to the Admission's Clerk
- Meet with an Academic Advisor to complete and submit registration form
